I'll be making it my duty to turn any whimsical cartoon-styled character you have in your mind into a full color character design. From a host of sketches to getting colors right, I'll be working with you each step of the way.

The character will be in vector format (Adobe Illustrator), meaning that it can be scaled to any size you may require without a loss of image quality. It can also be exported to a wide variety of popular image formats. Such characters are great for company/organization identity, advertising, website/blog mascots, avatars, and much more.

What you can expect from this service:
-One (1) full color vector (.ai) cartoon-style character in one (1) pose. Other file type delivered if specified.
-Simple, clean, and straight-forward design.
-Character on a transparent background.
-Full-body design.
-Design includes simple miscellaneous items related to the character (if any).
Examples: pencil and calculator for math whiz, weights for gym go-er, bowl of batter with whisk for chef, etc.
-Easy-to-follow layer structure with a coloring technique which makes changing base colors a breeze.
-You retain all rights to the character.

An Overview Of My Process:
-I'll first analyze your requirements and proceed with sketching different options for your character,
checking in with you as often as possible to review the various aspects of the design. This is so I can get an accurate picture of what you have in mind.

-When we agree on a sketch/idea, I'll proceed to digitally ink your character.

-After the inking, I'll verify a lighting scheme and color palette with you.

-I'll then digitally color your character then deliver an .ai file (or format of your choosing).

- Vector .ai file will have an easy-to-follow layer structure. The structure of the layers allows you to change the color of any part of your character without affecting the lighting. (Layer structure available in Illustrator 9 and up. Mentioned color change method available only in Illustrator CS4 and up).
