My name is Alex and I'm 33 years old. My interest in web design & development began 6 years ago when I started experimenting with a script that created Ebay partner network affiliate sites. It was called "BANS - Build a niche store". Not very long after creating my first site, I realized developing websites could be a full-time venture for me. That didn't happen until 4 years ago when I decided to leave my 9 to 5 job for good. Since then I have been a full-time freelancer and recently started my own web development agency here in Lima, Peru - where I am originally from.
My love for computers and programming actually began much earlier than that - in school. I remember writing a library management system in Pascal towards the end of my school years. Later when I went to university (Swansea, UK) I studied Computer Science, which has given me a solid foundation to learn new programming languages and adapt to new technologies.
I joined forces with my wife, Rachel, around 3 years ago when we decided the freelancing path was the perfect one for us. Since then we have not looked back. She loves to draw and illustrate so learning Photoshop and Illustrator was a logical option for her. We currently live south of Lima, away from the city noise and inspired every day by our ocean view.
Our combined skills in computer science and illustration have enabled us to build a business doing what we love - our journey is an exciting adventure and we treasure every minute of it!
