Every organisation, ranging from those that use design as a simple stylistic resource to those that see it as the linchpin of their corporate strategy, must determine what design can do for them and adopt a stance with respect to it.
If we take into account design's role in the creation and configuration of company's "visibility vectors", e.g., the image it projects in the market and the way it conveys its value proposition, it becomes a strategic function and should be treated accordingly.
Nowadays I do design here (on the www), as I'm on fatherhood and prefer to work from home rather than being trapped in a workplace, that's why I'm here, what else can I say?
