I am a self tough motion graphics designer working in a field of advertising for 14 years already.
I started my carrier as a video editor in studio that was making TV shows.
Later I got promoted to project manager and had 8 people working under me. In this field I worked for 7 years.
After that I decided to start my own journey and became a freelancer, providing 3D modeling/animation, motion graphics services here in Lithuania.
I am so in love with Cinema 4D I developed a free plugin Kurulumun. I enjoyed every bit of Python there. After that - Renomi - another useful implementation to Cinema 4D workflow.
At the end of the day my weapons of choice are Cinema 4D and After Effects. There's probably no point in mentioning Photoshop and Illustrator, is there?
Oh, totally slipped my mind - I am also a guru of DVD Studio PRO when it comes to Java scripting:) I do 3-5 DVD for local company (menu designs, animations, video encoding, final DVD master) each month.
Currently trying to put my teeth on AE Scripts Editor - have an idea for a script. Almost done, what's left is some nice GUI and demo video - all those bolts and bits that make a product attractive:)
Ah, I feel like all this sounds boring, ... I don't really like talking about my self. Sorry. No, for real. It feels like I am trying so sell myself, to show and prove that I am good at this, good at that, bad there and there, ... that's not my strongest point, sorry. I suck at marketing.
